PLATFORM

As a current Delaware City Councilman, my motto is "For the People". When elected as New Castle County District 12 Councilman, I will prioritize listening to the community's feedback and using it to address their concerns. Public safety, over development of land, and fair tax legislation are some of the major issues that I will focus on.
LIST OF ISSUES
Responsible Growth In The Communities

I am committed to preserving the character of our district and ensuring that development aligns with our comprehensive plan. To achieve this, we are considering implementing a special use permit for any large buildings over 20,000 sq ft. We believe that it's important for our community to stay informed about what's happening in neighborhoods. Stay tuned for updates on this initiative.

Emergency Services

We need an additional paramedic unit below the canal at Boyds Corner until the new Southern Public Safety Building is constructed. This is important as the area below the canal is vulnerable with only one unit available. The next two closest units are located in Glasgow or Churchman's Road. When I'm in office this will be something that I will push for.

Police Recruitment and Retention

As a community, we rely on our police force to keep us safe and secure. The recruitment and retention of officers have become a significant challenge in our state. To address this issue, I am committed to implementing strategies that will attract new recruits and retain our dedicated officers. Together, we can build a strong and well-supported police force that will ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Small Business

At the heart of every small town are the small businesses that make it unique. As an advocate for small business, I am committed to helping entrepreneurs overcome the hurdles that come with running a business in a small town. Whether it's advocating for better resources and services, or creating policies that support small business growth, I will bring focus to ensuring that local businesses can succeed and thrive.
